Today’s training

Hill sprints
20/40/60/80/95%
Approximately 200-250m (42sec on final sprint)

5 total trips up and down the hill, adding intensity as I warmed up. My ankle held up well considering.

Today’s training

Operator I/A week 3 session 8

General warmup

Backsquat 3x3 90kg
Weighted ring dips 3x3 16kg

Weighted ring pull-ups 3x3 12kg

1 more session of OP I/A to go. The last training session will involve deadlifts and ring dips only. I might do another lap through with the same weights and try and up my conditioning a bit before i forceprogress anything. The weights are pretty easy but I only hit 3-4 sets at most, I might go for 5 + before I add weight.

Today’s training

Operator I/A week 2session 9

General warmup

Deadlift
70x2 115kg 3x2
Weighted ring dip 3x5 16kg

Completed final session of my current OP I/A cycle.
I did 3 total deadlift sets as I was feeling good. I will take a few days off now to reassess my future training plans and where I go from here.

Overall happy with things training wise but I need to redress some mobility issues and make that my future focus over adding weights currently.

Yesterday’s training

Bjj gi midday

Worked on Armbars from closed guard

4x5 mins rolling

Two good hard rounds to start with some heavy pressure.
1 cruise roll with a lighter beginning transitioning through sub setups.
1roll on the defensive with a bigger guy. I copped a forearm/chest in this roll and probably broke my nose. Haha joys of a contact sport, but it’s not the first time it has broken. I stopped boxing for this reason but I may just take it back up.

I missed a bjj session in here last week but oh well.

I will be doing a base build of sorts and tracking a few other things than I usually do such as food, sleep, walking etc. I will continue to update my log here as I go through the process. Just changing things up a bit and going for a health first approach for a little bit.

I will update my log starting tomorrow with the template for how I will track things.

Today’s training
Health first basebuild day 1
Bodyweight testing day

General warmup

Squats-46
Pushups-40
Lunges-52
Ring pull-ups-13
Lateral lunges-50
Sit-ups-44

Sleep-8:06hrs
Walk-30 min

I am doing a visit outside of TB and tracking a few other metrics.
The goal is to make sleep, food and daily activity my focus and also hit particular sessions in my training. It basically works out to be a month long basebuild.
I am limited as to what I will write as it isn’t my programming and I am paying for the service.

It will be a bit of a change for me as I have always made training my focus and neglected nutrition and sleep.
