Today’s training

TB Greyman
Week 2 day 2
Main lifts

Benchpress 4x6 70kg
Back squat 4x6 90 kg

Supplementary
5.11 Weightvest approx 10kg
Side to side squat 2x8 ea side
Ring rows 2x8

I had a reasonably interesting day at work. I wasn't really feeling up to training today, but my shifts lined up to push things a bit harder today. I am really enjoying grey man and think it's a great template. Between work and my personal life at the moment I shouldn't really be doing something mass building focused.

I have 4 sessions to go and will work my way through them before transitioning to TB OP/Fighter Bangkok paired with black. I have spent so long doing LSS it's time to get some HIC work in.

Today’s training

TB Grey man
Week 2 day 3
Main lifts

1 arm KB OHP 4x6 24kg ea side
Deadlift 1x6 110 kg

Bare minimum today for recovery. The presses felt really easy and deadlift was better. I am taking it easy on my lower back for now.

I think I might switch to traditional SWAT style operator after next week. I'll keep the same weights and sub in 10 kg weighted pull ups. I will treat them as if they are body weight with the loading.

I really need to get some black continuation in. I am thinking some 1 LSS, 2 HIC a week will be the plan, predominately running based.

Today’s training

TB Greyman
Week 3 day 1
Main lifts

Benchpress 4x3 75kg
Back squat 4x3 100 kg

I am in the last week of grey man. What I have realised is that mass gain is not within my current goals. I plan on switching back to OP I/A swat cluster paired with black. I am on leave at the moment and finally getting some sleep, but still decided to take it easy and skip the supplementary exercises today to recover better.

My goal at the moment is to increase my conditioning and let strength take a back seat. I am moving in the next couple days and will be back to having a better home gym and a nice long hill for sprinting. I see a lot of apex hills in the future and hopefully I will get back some decent run times.

I pulled up pretty damn sore from yesterdays run. The plan is to go to BJJ open mat this evening and just take it easy to get the blood flowing.

The run was a spur of the moment decision before taking some days off following my recent mass cluster. I was happy I could still run for 90 plus mins and felt pretty good during it. I was a bit disappointed in the distance, but I maintained the correct heart rate I was aiming for. The only thing that was hard during the run was some calf pain and that has carried over into today.

Today's Training

BJJ Gi Midday

Knee thru pass with collar grip from de la riva

5x5 mins specific rolling for above

I have called it early on Grey man. I am in the process of moving and the power rack is getting packed up today. I will be keeping some squat stands at my current house and just enough weights to keep me going. I was struggling to deal with the volume anyway.

I will go back to TB Operator with 2-3 conditioning sessions. I will be doing longer LSS style conditioning with some HIC mixed in.
Think lots of weight vest style conditioning.
