Tactical barbell operator

Week 1 Session 1

General warmup

Work sets
Back squat 80kg 3x5

Benchpress 65kg 5x5

Pull-ups 3x5 bodyweight

This is the first session back since I became a dad. The little fella has been causing some sleep problems as you can imagine, but all worth it :D

I have also moved to a new place, so can finally do overhead pressing and chest to bar pull-ups again inside my garage gym. Basically winning all round :D

I am back with my favourite swat cluster. The plan is to incorporate this with black continuation and bjj. The above was completed in circuit fashion with back squats and benchpress first until continuing with benchpress and pull-ups. 2 mins minimum rest between rounds.

I am going to hunt up a second hand rower or airdyne ASAP. I am looking for in home cardio options for the future when I can’t get out and run.

Congrats! They usually let you sleep after they get you fully programmed, so it won't last forever! :)

Hill sprints
1x200m + 70 % to warmup

3x hillsprints aprrox 100m

30 min recovery walk

I am loving the new house. I have plenty of hills to sprint and measured out a good 750m run with plenty of hills around my streets. Between that and the better garage I can get back to proper TB training and include more conditioning options.
