HBBSQ
80kg 4x3

Dips
40kg 4x3

WPU
22.5kg 4x3

Then

30 Seconds double unders
30 seconds rhythm, footwork, coordination
30 seconds sprint in place
30 seconds rhythm, footwork, coordination
60 seconds high speed freestyle

Rest 60 seconds

Repeat
x4

PM

Kneeling Rollouts
1x15

Ramp Rollouts
3rd notch 3x3

Note: the rope session was a fun one. I’m feeling my rhythm/timing coming back overall, getting smoother with it, need to stay on it to keep trending in that direction. As for the lifts, everything felt really good today, despite multiple wake ups during the night. Not a bad day.

Note: cardio with this cold doesn’t feel like the most wise decision, extra fatigued today….

TBDL
162.5kg 2x3
172.5kg 1x3

Sandbag Shouldering
Heavy Bag 3x3 p/s

GHR
Orange Band 1x2
BW 1x2 1x1
Yellow band 1x3

Ramp Rollouts
3rd notch 3x3

Sandbag Bear Hug Carry
Heavy Bag 10mins

Note: breathing felt better today, last set on the DL felt better than the first two. GHR was a bit harder than usual, I’ll put that partly down to the work before it though. I may include a bodyweight single or more depending on feel each session so I don’t get too used to the banded work. I do like the bands for strengthening at the very end range and I am noticing benefits, so they definitely have their place. Everything else felt great. If I’m feeling good, skating is on the cards tomorrow, otherwise that’s the end of the block. On to a deload and working out what I will do while waiting for green protocol/CAT to come out.

Rest Day

Note: a lot of mental fatigue leftover from the cold/virus. Didn’t have the energy drop yesterday, just a few other symptoms, today it’s the other way around. Will rest today, skate or box/jump rope tomorrow.

LSS Run
60 mins

Note: had a sudden urge to run today so I, ran with it…
Felt pretty good all around, a little tight here and there, probably left over from the DL day, but otherwise held a good pace, nasal breathing the whole way.
On the back off week now, I might have to freestyle it a little bit over the next couple of weeks after this week, I don’t really want to start a new block until green protocol comes out.
