From the weekend.
Sat 9/29
Beat Your Face, x3 rounds
Sun 9/30
DL 445 1x5
Squat 405 3x5
OHP 165 3x5
It should have been 3 sets, 5 sets, 5 sets instead of 1, 3, 3, but I cut things short because I had a bunch of work to do yesterday.

So yesterday I did "KB Resets." I saw in another thread that KB had said that you could take 600m Resets and sub in an equivalently intense activity with the same time parameters, so I thought I'd try out these new kettlebells I'd bought to start Operator. Plus, I'd mowed the yard and didn't feel like driving to the park to run.
So I ended up doing 5 rounds.
Rounds 1 and 2: 88lb KB x 45 secs, 52lb KB x 45 secs
Rounds 3, 4, 5: 52lbs x 45 secs
So doing the weighted hinge movement "under time" really, really killed my lower back. It felt like someone was running current through it. I was gassed pretty good after the rounds too, but it was the back pain that made me change up the plan halfway through. I plan to come back and try again to see if it gets better with practice and/or I'll change up the times and weights to see if that helps. But man, it was rough.

I was pretty worried about whether my back would hold up after the ... unpleasantness with the KB swings, but it did okay. Taking today off, will probably do some 600m Resets tomorrow and hope the back is ready to deadlift Saturday.
For whatever reason, the overhead presses last night felt really easy, so I did some 'extra' sets. Maybe I should have used a higher 1RM for my calculations for this block, but 175 felt lighter than 165 had. *shrug*
Wednesday 10/3 (first 85% day on Op I/A)
Squats 425 5x3
OH Press 175 8x3
Pull-Ups 5 sets of 5, bodyweight
Thursday 10/4
Off
