Welcome to my training log.
I have been suffering from fuckarounditis and have been doing a bit of this, a bit of that, for a while.
Furthermore, I started a new job 1st June 2021, with a much shorter daily commute, and have gained a bit of weight since becoming a father.
I have also discovered that I need a bit of help being accountable with my training regimen at the moment, at least until I get back in the groove. Therefore I have decided to create this training log.
This first post will show my current and past training blocks with the latest at the bottom of this post.
So without further ado, I'm starting Block 1 today with some base building, slightly unconventional.
Block 1: Base Building:
Weeks 1-5:
Mon: AM: Endurance (LSS running, slowly increasing duration). PM: SE: One Arm KB swings 10x10 alternating (5 set each arm) and bodyweight pull-ups
Tues: Endurance (LSS running)
Wed: SE
Thu: Endurance (60-90 min rucking)
Fri: AM: Endurance (LSS running). PM: SE
Sat: optional Endurance
Sun: rest
Weeks 6-8:
Mon: MS
Tues: HIC (600m repeats)
Wed: Recovery
Thu: MS
Fri: HIC (Hill sprints)
Sat: Endurance (60 min rucking)
Sun: Rest
I plan on moving to a Black-ish Zulu in Block 2.
It is my goal to post here every day I've completed the training of the day, however, I might not always be able to, due to work and family.
