I read Tacticall Barbell 2 and 3 over the weekend and it was exactly what I'm looking for so I decided to commit to the program for at least the next 24 weeks. My plan is to cycle between eight weeks of base, eight weeks of Green and eight weeks of Black. Current stats are age 20, height 6'2, weight 195, 5k time 21:56, 5 mile time 38:59, Push-ups 58, Sit-ups 86, Pull-ups 12, Bench Press 265, Squat 395, Deadlift 405. Goals are a sub 35 minute 5 mile time, 80 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 20 pull-ups. I'll post my daily workouts from here until the foreseeable future.

Day 1 of Base Building in the books. For my strength endurance I'm doing an modified stew smith PT pyramid. Today it was 1-6-1 of pull-ups, push-ups x2, thrusters with a 20#db x 3, and Bicycle Crunches x4. Afterwards I ran for 45 minutes at an easy pace according to the McMillan Online Run Calculator. For me this was about a 9:30 pace.

Day 2 done. Ran at an easy pace for 45 minutes. Today was the first day in a while where I'm at that it hasn't been 90 degrees with 1000% humidity at six in the morning when I go for a run.
