Travman's TB Training Log

Today I finished the 8 week BB found in the Sample 17 Week Program Tactical Law Enforcement Protocol.

I cut the cardio during week 8 in half. So my LSS run today was supposed to be 30mins. Well on my run I forgot to turn the watch back on after stopping at a light, so my 30min turned into a 43min run. The run was rough, today was the first time I ran early in the morning and with no food in my stomach. Not to mention the error I had with not turning the timer back on my watch!

With BB I met my goal of being able to run for 60mins! I was pretty pumped that day!

I am taking this week off and will pick up with my new training block next Sunday. I will post my new block on the forum for critique.

Today, I just wrapped up my first week of Progressive SE Template.

For my SE I did Alpha circuits with, hang cleans, floor press, KB swings, and stiff leg deadlift. I can do the 3 sets with no RI's. So I am pretty happy about that. My E I did a ruck on Monday, and a run today.

Sunday: AM SE- Barbell and KB Alpha circuits 3x20
PM: E- Hike, around four miles

Monday: Rest because of my two workouts on Sunday.

Tuesday: SE- Barbell and KB Alpha circuits 3x20. I needed to take the RI during this workout, I was sore, and my grip strength was diminishing.

Wednesday: E- Run, 3 miles in just over 30 minutes, my first run of the week is when I try to focus on form because I shuffle when I run.

Thursday: SE- Barbell and KB Alpha Circuits 3x20. My grip strength held up during the workouts, I had to break up the hang cleans into 10reps because my form was terrible.

Friday will be an E run on the same route as Tuesday and I will aim for the 180 foot strikes per-minute.
