Also seems to be a better at hydration than a lot of sports drinks.

Chocolate milk is my crack. Can't get enough of it. Nice to know its also good for me.

I have had periods in my life where I have been consuming 2-3 liters of milk every day. This is in addition to cheese, yogurt, porridge, &c. If you're blessed with lactose digesting enzymes, you better use them!
