I don't know if you guys familiar with this magic product. I use it for protein shakes: Kefir, protein powder banana (or berries). Works like charm. I use Lifeway brand.
Anyway, meet Kefir

It does a magic for my digestive system. Any issues are usually get resolved with a glass of kefir. And you want to keep your stomach healthy while you get older.
It also is a must for my twins. They take it twice a day.

Giggling from eastern Europe where this is a staple
Anyway, it usually has more protein than milk and probiotics have already been brought up. Try swapping out milk with kefir in other recipes as well. Make your pancakes with kefir for example. Note that kefir is not a good replacement for milk in coffee tho.

Thank you DO. That sounds awesome. There is Lactobacillus reuteri in Kefir but who knows if those are particular ones..
But it is very interesting information!

Bought some today. Kept my distance because of my overall dislike of dairy, but been hearing too much good stuff about it not to try. Anything the mongols drank must have some merit for training lol.
Anyone else out there with experiences with this stuff? Any noticeable positives or negatives?

Does kefir make anyone else sick? started drinking a couple glasses a day, and about 4-5 days in developed strep-like sore throat and some ongoing stomach discomfort. Discontinued, and one day later my throat feels practically normal.
