Hello all! Started BB per second time (last was on dec last year)
I have all the points clear, know what to do, and how.
But I want to start adding some fighting when I start green/black protocol on the continuation (I think i'll go green)
So I thought to add 2 boxing class which are free on my gym (are mostly for "amateur" people, so I won't give a lot on the trainings, like 0 conditioning, they practice 4-5 combinations and then 20 mins of light sparring (no headgear, bla bla))
Would it interfere with the BB E adaption and that? Should I wait to continuation to add mma/boxing classes?
Monday: SE 3x10 morning ---- boxing class night
Tuesday: E
Wednesday: SE 3x10 morning ---- boxing class night
Thursday: E
Friday: SE
Saturday: E (pushing limits)
Sunday: Rest
Thanks!
It's okay to add 1-2 boxing classes while on BB?

If you are doing it because you WANT to box, then 100% do it. If you are doing it just to add more to the program in hopes of it getting better, you could probably hold off on it.
If I had free boxing classes nearby I would do it regardless of the training block because it is fun and useful.

Do it if you want to box. You are lucky it's a class that doesn't make you do a heap of conditioning work which would possibly cause issues.
Just go by how you feel on the day and go easy or hard depending.
Focus on skill acquisition and there is no reason it will cause an issue.

If you want to do it, do it. Just take the extra fatigue into consideration. What I would do is reschedule my BB week to where I would have boxing classes on E days to make it a bit easier. SE will get tough as hell once you get into higher reps and you might not have much energy left in the evening to go boxing.

If the boxing was more about intervals, push-ups etc. would it be HIC then?
Or can you count is as a SE session? Considering the same at this moment.
Reading this thread leads more to go into boxing class instead of E days? Or additional to E days? I am confused now

If you choose to skip LSS Endurance sessions for sports, you are defeating the whole purpose of base building, at least the first 5 weeks of it.
Might as well just go straight to continuation at that point.

Okey, I did not write it correctly. I have 1 Martial Arts Training per week. I just wanted to know if I should do it additionally or substitute one of the workouts with it. I never wanted to skip all E-Sessions!

I have a same dilemma. I can go 2/3x a week on MA, and I am 3rd week BB.
Although, I was injured, so it's a bit different.
Before, when I did it, I wen to MA classes 3x a week, and on those days just do E training.
I would consider boxing more SE and HIIC than E.
Do you agree?
