4 mile ruck on a local trail, a bit slow today as I was listening to a podcast (Jocko Willink) on my phone speaker as I went. Then went to a flat area near a pavilion for some ruck PT.
First round: Burpees with ruck on back, overhead squats, ruck push-ups, and four count flutterkicks holding ruck above chest. 21-15-9 circuit, so 45 total reps of each.
Second round: Ruck thruster/touch bear crawl pyramid from 1 to 15. Do 1 thruster, then 4 touches on a bear crawl. Then do 2 and 8, 3 and 12, and so forth. Only made it to 13 before I ran out of time and had to head home. Total was 91 thrusters and 364 touches for bear crawls.

Incentive Training. 10 rounds of 3 minutes. Every 3 minutes, I did the following. I would then rest until the top of the next 3 minutes. It started as a 1:1 work/rest ratio but it was more like 2:1 by the end.

10 days out from the Mogadishu Mile GORUCK Tough. On my doc's orders, I could only do the Tough or Light, not both (he wants to see how my discs react after the Tough first).

Modified Blackbeard Challenge Level 3 (used 30# plate instead of 45#, everything else is same). All PT done wearing the ruck.
**2.5 mile ruck.
**50 walking lunges per leg, 75 push-ups.
**2.5 mile ruck.
**50 squats, 2 minute push up plank hold.
**2.5 mile ruck.
**25 diamond push ups, 50 mountain climbers.
**2.5 mile ruck
Did an extra 1.5 miles at the end for a total of 11.5 miles plus all the PT.
