Agreed. I did this with no weight at all as a bit of a finisher and it still worked like a charm.
I just tried this now and it was a killer! and that was with no weight haha. Definitely have to start doing this after my workouts.

SSB Squat - 5x5, 155
WPU - 5x5, BW
RI - 2-3 min

Notes
*Getting back to “sets across” after few years of either super sets (pre-TB) or circuit (TB). Feels very different and hard for now. I need to get the groove of it back.
**Parallel grip for pull-ups this time round. Feels great.
***Getting back to BP. Also, need to get the smoothness of the movement back. Feels very rusty for now.
***Planning to add evening ROMWOD. Going to need some patience with this one.
****Happy to be back to the training!!!

PM
ROMWOD, short daily session

Good start Bark! You'll get used to sets across quicker than you think. Did it feel like it saved any time since there was less moving plates around?

Thank you!

I wasn't able to feel that  . What I felt is some sort of body shock from switching the mode of training. Sort of confusion.

What really did surprise me is the finisher. I thought it would fry my shoulders which it did. But it also felt like a "seal" to the whole training session. It made it complete. Nice final touch. Very interesting experience.

I'm sure that picture pretty much sums it up.

Right, I've always hated alternating barbell exercises (say, SQ and OHP), because of all the plate-switching. I have, however, found that weighted pull-ups and other lifts work really well together. Do a set of squats, take a break and pull on the weight vest, and then do your pull-ups. Otherwise, I do sets across.

I think I am going to like this one a lot once I am used to it!

I am surprised that it took care of my DOMS from the yesterday's lifting session! I wanted to take another day off and I am glad I pushed myself into it!
