How's that rower feeling?
Re: Barkadion TB Logs
Getting better. But being smart about the pace is tricky for sure. I find that 600m is a bit challenging VS IPP. Don’t know why. Just a different feel. This one is going to need some patience to progress. Slow and steady approach should do I’d guess...grouchyjarhead wrote:How's that rower feeling?
Air bike breaks you down mercilessly. Rower tortures you slowly..

*Shoulder is starting to feel uncomfortable. Adding 1.5" board to BP.
**TBDL feels much better. Still getting more squatting-like pattern, though. Well, I don't mind anymore:D

Uncomfortable as in painful?
Re: Barkadion TB Logs
Somewhat at the bottom. Feels much better with the board. I'd guess that the position of the shoulder head at the bottom irritates connective tissue (old injury). No issues before/after the lift, though. I think I might need work slowly on reintroducing full ROM or just keep 1 board for a while.. Also, I think I have been ignoring proper upper back arch...grouchyjarhead wrote:Uncomfortable as in painful?

Form could be a part of it. I was more of an Olympic lifter than a powerlifter but once I learned how to arch my back properly I noticed a lot less issues with my anterior deltoids. Check this article by Wendler, see if you're covering all the bases. If all that is good, single board presses is a good compromise.

Awesome! Thank you! Lack of upper back arch is my current issue I bet. I am on it!grouchyjarhead wrote:Form could be a part of it. That JW BP article is priceless! It’s very easy to loose proper form after not doing the lift for a while..
