Thanks. After testing yesterday, I'm itching to work out today, but I'll try to be smarter than that, take a rest day, and start afresh tomorrow.Barkadion wrote:Mikhou, good to see ya back, mate.

Re: mikhou's training log
Op I/A session 1
BP - 5x6 @ 142.5 lbs
SQ - 5x6 @ 165 lbs
WCU - 5x6 @ 142.5 lbs
5 sets of 1:05 planks and 11 T2B spread throughout the day. (I'll be doing a slow methodical increase in time for planks and reps for T2B).
I am starting off with a pretty low training max. My set x rep scheme may look a little odd, but it's based upon TB principles and Prilepin's chart. I've stated this before, but I'll say it again. I know that Op I/A from TB2 has been superceded by Op I/A, TB1, 3rd edition, but I still like it and will be using it this cycle in the A-B-A format. I like playing with a larger cluster but giving priority to the "A" lifts as it comes to frequency.

During the bodyweight portion of my base build, I did a lot of wall squats (facing the wall, not the static hold facing away from the wall) to help me work on sitting back more and really pushing out my knees. I think that it helped. My squat form feels really good right now with a little weight on my back.

Fobbit Interval / E / Fun Run - Hard to know what to call it today. I warmed up with an easy half mile and then did some warm-up sets for OHP plus my first working set. Then I repeated another half mile run followed by a set of OHP repeating this up to 5 sets. I then switched to straight-leg deadlift. So I completed:
3.5 miles @ half mile each
5x6 OHP @ 90 lbs.
2x6 SLDL @ 160 lbs.
