I really enjoyed today's strength session. The groove is coming back on my bench after nearly 6 months away from it.
I was very conservative on the loads, but that was the idea. I made some technique changes and strength isn't my current focus.

I am upping my calories a touch to compensate for strength training and running at the same time. I recently dropped from 77kg to 74kg during my "Health first basebuild", I am now going to aim for 75kg to level back out.

The upcoming TB mass book has come at a perfect time as I was looking at adding some muscle in the coming months for deterrence of offenders at work.

Recovery day

I tweaked my groin/hip flexor at BJJ yesterday. Full recovery day today and no walk due to it raining.

Still some groin pain, but nothing too bad. A bit of blood flow seems to have hel;ped and the weight are 50-60% anyway. I will assess to see if it needs further recovery over the coming days.

Today's Training(Nightshift)

90 Min LSS run- 10.77 km
Avg Pace: 8:22 per km
Avg HR: 135 bpm

Sleep:6:00
Walk:30 min following the run
Food:2/4

First 90 min run in a long time and reasonably easy and pain free. My base building has been a success and I have slowly built my run volume back up. Considering I had to take 4 months of all running this year it hasn't been a bad overall result in the long run.

I still have some LSS goals and will probably do at least another month of green/base building before possibly looking at maintaining my running ability and adding some mass via the new TB book.
