popped rib sucks. i had it once and it took a couple months to get back to normal. but you'll survive!
It ain't what you don’t know that gets you into trouble.
It's what you know for sure that just ain’t so.

Today’s training

LSS Run 30:30
4km
Avg pace 7:37/km
Avg hr 151bpm

Cheers to everyone with the messages. My rib is pretty good overall, I just have to take it easy with work and wearing equipment.

So far no issues running so that’s a good start. I will add in some body weight movements next week provided nothing aggravates it. I am probably going to take at least 2 months off bjj from the day it was injured. 2 weeks down today already :D

Today’s training

Warmup
Back squat bar x10,40kg x6
Pushups x10
Horizontal rows x10
X2 rounds

Back squat 60kg x5
BW ring dips x5
BW pull-ups x5

X 3 rounds

I have had a bit of a bad run with injuries lately between popping my rib, putting my back out and some plantar fasciitis issues. Add a bad flu into things and training hasn’t really been happening lately.

I can’t run at the moment so I’ll be doing some easy weights to strengthen my back. I’ll add some walking and stationary cardio in and just take things easy for a bit. I think it might be a good chance to start adding some flexibility work in and making it a major focus.
