So im officially back at it after a couple years of no barbell work. Tested all my maxes amd was pretty happy. Am going to run op I/A with overhead press, weighted pullups and squats. I was going to dead every third session but think im going to program kb swings instead. The thought of repeatedly swinging a bulldog is really appealing to me rite now.

Deadlift 500lb
Overhead press 190lb
Weighted pullups 50lb @ 240lbs bodyweight

Overhead press 7x5 @ 125
Pullup 5x5 @ bodyweight
Swings 3x 10l/10r, 1x 5l/5r @ 24kg
Not awful for my first session. Squats started slow but last few sets felt good. Was gonna push the set count a little higher but dont want to jump back in to fast.

Swings 3x 10l/10r, 1x 5l/5r @ 24kg

Dropping swings from my strength days. As the weather changes ill be stuck inside more so i'm moving them to conditioning days.

Rest day
Was planning on a hic session today but feeling very sluggish. Started with some swings but the bell felt very heavy today. Think my overnight shift drained me a tad. Will rest up today then hit a nice LSS run tomorrow before heading out of town.
