1/5/20

Squat
85kg 3x5

OHP
50kg 3x5

WPU
15kg 3x5

PM

Ring Rollouts
1x3
1x2

Wheel Rollouts
2x3

Ring Rollouts
2x8

Note: so the needle with rollouts keeps going back and forth, I may have to look at cutting Fobbit and replace it with something else. The lower back seems to be too fatigued to hold for many reps whereas the abdominals seem to be holding up fine. Some regular banded good mornings with some other conditioning maybe a replacement, or, banded good mornings in place of swings and drop the snatches down to 20kg on Fobbit and regress to the basic 5 rep p/s range. That should allow for progression of the rollouts and better recovery for the lower back, and hopefully, an improvement on the wheels. #figureitoutfriday

Skate

About 45 mins

Then

Burner Burpees
x200

PM

Iso Extensor Device
1kg 2x10 second holds
1.5kg 2x10 second holds

Banded Neck Routine
3x15 all directions

Note: finally able to skate now that I’ve got a practice rail at home. Burner burpees were pretty comfortable to get through, good bit of SE/explosive work and best of all to me this particular routine left me feeling fresh throughout the day.

Hey Bark, something that Jim passed on that I’ve started playing with.

The burpees start after a few minutes.

Once you get into a rhythm they’re pretty fun, or at least I really enjoyed them anyway.
