26/5/20

Front Squat
75kg 3x5

OHP
50kg 3x5

WPU
10kg 3x5

PM

Kneeling Rollouts
1x15

Ramp Rollouts
4th notch 4x3

OA Thick Pinch Block Lifts
15kg 1x5 p/s
20kg 2x3 p/s 1x5 R 1x4 L

Wrist Push Ups
3 sets

Note: Starting to feel like I’m in a position to find my old training groove, getting some more regular grip work in, almost like I’m coming out of a, not quite a slump, but things haven’t been as fluid/smooth as it had been in past years. The left thumb is finally getting strength back after the sprain last year, and I feel like how I’ve written this block up can be used for longer term training, though I’ll confirm that after a couple of cycles. Pretty happy with how things are coming together. It’s a good day.

29/5/20

Juggling and Reflex Ball
15 mins

Jump Rope
Light 3 minutes

Burner “1 pump” Burpees
Over 200

Note: I overtook the guy in the video on a few occasions, I think I did only about 10-15 more than the 200, felt pretty comfortable, challenged but not unmanageable, held position well throughout. The last couple of blocks of training are doing something right, I’m starting to feel much sharper all around, I think the 3/1 principle has a bit to do with it, among a couple of other things. Really am loving how everything is feeling right now.

Front Squat

OHP
52kg 3x5

WPU
15kg 3x5

Kneeling Rollouts
1x10

Ramp Rollouts

Thin Pinch Block Lifts (2 hand)
30kg 1x5
35kg 1x5
40kg 1x5 + 5 second hold last rep

Note: Great session today, presses were a little slow to start, but still felt good, I’ll put that down to the 200+ burpees from yesterday. Everything else was pretty smooth. Good session.

Hi mate, are you using rolling blades for your skating? My twins are learning it now and I am thinking of joining them..

Hi Bark, yes I sure am, been rolling around for a good part of the last 20 something odd years. Always good fun, you definitely should look into it! Let me know if you have any other questions, more than happy to help out.
