Morning: Hiking up a local mountain with my 6 year old kid. 2,2 km up, 400 m elevation gain. Lota of motivational chocolate and easy pace

Evening: regular hill sprints up another mountain. 8 x 30 sek, 2 min wall

Northern Norway. Worlds best hill sprint gym, 10 min from the front door!

The vacation is over, I’m back home and the training room at work still hasn’t opened. I have started another Base building cycle, and unlike last time, I can use mainly running as LSS.

20/07- 20
SE, 3x30

21/7-20 E
30 min running

22/7-20
The plan was LSS, but ended up with overtime and other commitments after work. Will try to do a double tomorrow, SE 2x30 + LSS

23/7-20 SE + LSS
SE, 2x30, then 34 min run.

I managed my pace better today than the last runs, I didn’t drift off, increase my speed unconcioussly and grt out of the zone. Good run

24/7-20
Rucking around with my camping gear while (unsuccesfully) looking for a place not crowded with tents and hammocks, with a way to heavy pack since we were only meant to walk for 20-30 minutes....

25/7-20
47 min LSS run. Used a Nike app, and this time I think I almost took it too easy, had an avg speed of 8.8 km/h. Was in the «can-talk-while-I-run»-zone the whole time.

And with my new shoes, I didn’t get any blisters or numbness in the foot!
