That's certainly a possibility in the long run. If I change things up I want to do it gradually so I can assess the effect. Thanks for the idea!

I am thinking of going this road in the future. Please share your experience :)

If I had known TB2 would be out so soon I would have waited to make the order lol. Ordering that one this morning. I wanted to have the hard copies at work to hopefully encourage some other converts. As the department fitness coordinator people occasionally come to me for recommendations.

Followed you on IG. Hope ya don't mind. Cheers. Looking forward to your posts.

1. I'm contemplating a shift to Operator I/A for my next block. Nothing crazy, but maybe an 8 day training week instead of 7. So it'd be something like this:

MS
HIC
MS
Rest
HIC
MS
E
Rest

I'm only going to do this if it'll improve performance. I'm not looking for an extra day off to be lazy. I'm just wondering if I've reached the point (especially on MS) where an extra day of recovery would help. My sets wouldn't change drastically. Like I mentioned on a previous post; BP, WPU, and DL would stay at 3 sets because they're all progressing adequately, SQ would go to 5 sets because it was such a grind this last block.
This is exactly what I am doing now, and I like it. The only difference is that I alternate the E session every other week with a GC session.

I think that could certainly be an option. It all depends on each person's recovery needs and external factors (sleep, stress, time, etc.).

10/13/16
Conditioning (Black)
Block 4
Week 6
Day 4

HIC: Tempo Run

Tempo Speed: 4 mins at 90% HR
Recovery Speed: 1 min at 70% HR
x5

Average RPE: 7

Notes
-I was surprised how manageable this was. Last week was 3 minute sets and I thought adding a full minute to each would be too much. But I tried it out and it wasn't that tough. The program I'm using to get to a 20 minute tempo runs seems to work pretty well.

-Ran in the wrong socks and got a blister. I was hoping for a 10 mile LSS on Saturday. That might not happen now. If not I'll do a HIC of some sort. Maybe that hill that almost killed me last time.

10/14/16
Strength (Operator)
Block 4
Week 6
Day 5

Primary Lifts (95% Training Max)

SQ 3x2@420 lbs
BP 2x2@225 lbs*
DL 0*

Accessory Lifts

None

Notes
-I injured myself today. First time in my 10 years of lifting I've gotten an acute injury. On my last set of BP as I was unracking I felt a very distinct pop in the back of my neck. I could barely get up off the bench. I won't be going into work today. All I can hope is that it's muscular and heals up quickly. I guess I'm lucky it was the last workout of the block. I was due for a deload anyway.

I had almost the same issue. It might involve the whole upper back area. It was left upper back in my case. I'd suggest go see specialist (PT, MD, etc). It is better to address it as soon as it happens. Don't train through the possible injury. Listen to your body's signals.

Best of luck!

Appreciate the support guys. I'm pretty much down for the count. Can barely move my head. Went to the chiropractor this afternoon. He thinks it's a sprained ligament in my neck. That's good news in the sense that it's not a spinal/disk issue. I took the week(end) off work as I'm pretty much non-functional. If I'm not significantly better by Monday I'll be going to the doctor's.
