Skate

About 40 minutes

Then

Freestyle jump rope
5x3 min rds

Note: getting closer to feeling as conditioned as I want to be in the cardio department. Will always enjoy the jump rope, that’s coming back as a mainstay. I feel like over the last nearly two years I’ve been on a roundabout journey training wise, things are nearly where I want them. Everything is slowly starting to click.

Airbike Power Intervals

2 mins on
3 mins coast
x7

44/41/40/39/39/39/41

PM

Kneeling Rollouts
1x10

Ramp Rollouts
5th notch 3x3

Weighted Plank
25kg 3x 1 min on 1min off

Note: so I think over the next block I’ll have something in place like an Airbike BOO or BOO 2 in week 1, intervals in week 2 and like a speed endurance or a Buffalo session in week 3, or power intervals week 1 and 2 with a shorter Airbike session in week 3.
Intervals went well today, my body seems to respond really well recovery wise the days after an Airbike session, hence why I’m keen on keeping them in. Interval sessions like that always remind me of Infinite Intensity’s 50 day program. Maybe I’ll consider giving that another run through sometime.

Skate

About 40 mins

Note: rain kicked in and cut the session short. Was actually feeling a little mentally fatigued, so it wasn’t a bad thing, I think some of the baby feed times through the night might be catching up a bit. All good, I probably should have taken today off, I’ll keep that in mind for the next block. Rest day tomorrow before DL day.
