OS Resets
Push-ups - 3x81
DB rows - 4x8 @ 24 kg
DL - 5/3/2 @ 104.4/118.2/125 kg
Loaded carries - Suitcase carry-left, Suitcase carry-right, Farmer's carry-both @ 26.5 kg/hand

The DLs and loaded carries were tough today. I've been battling a head cold and just didn't have the energy to finish well.

2 days ago - Rest day

Yesterday - Was supposed to lift, but just didn't have it while dealing with a head cold and some stress at work. Later in the day, I was able to get in some 1:1 sprints. 5 minute warm-up, 10 rounds of 1 minute sprint:1 minute rest for a total of 20 minutes worth of work.

WPU - 4x8 @ bw (65.6 kg)
Ab wheel - 7/3

Today - 60 minute Fun Run incorporating push-ups (3x81) and DB rows (4x8 @ 24 kg)

This is the end of a cycle so I'm taking a few days off. I've been sick with a head cold so this past week's workouts have been tough. I've also noticed my resting heart rate inching up a bit. That could very well be due to the head cold and to just being tired. I'll likely take 3 full days off, do some light deload lifting, and then take a few more days off with maybe one slow 30 minute run before starting another cycle. If my resting HR remains elevated even after the head cold is finished, I'll likely run a BB phase after that.

Last few days - An hour and a half of volleyball and just playing with my kids

Today
I'm on an easy/test week. So today I tested DL and pulled 124kg for 5 reps. At 47 yo and 64 kg, I'm pretty happy with that. I also tested push-ups and got 100 straight push-ups without coming off of my hands. At 82 and 94 reps, I did go into the downward dog position for 5-count rest and then got back at it until I got to 100. The rest of the time I did some easy reps at deload percentages for SQ, pull-ups, and OHP. Overall, I'm happy with it. I'll take tomorrow off, probably do an easy run the next day, take one more day off, and then start my next cluster.

Yesterday - Rest day

Today
OS Rests
OHP - 4x8 @ 41 kg
SQ - 4x8 @ 89.4 kg
WPU - 4x10 @ bodyweight of 64 kg
KB swings - 75,15,10 @ 18 kg

I've said this before, but the first day back after a rest week is always tough for me. Some people are completely refreshed, but I just have to gut through it knowing that the second workout is going to be on point. Because of that I petered out on the WPU's and got 10 reps for the first 3 sets but then had to break down the last set as 4/3/2/1.

OS Resets
Push-ups - 5x70
DB rows - 4x12 @ 19 kg
DL - 5/3/2 @ 96/108.2/115 kg
Loaded carries - Suitcase carry-left, Suitcase carry-right, Farmer's carry-both @ 26.5 kg/hand

After testing DL last week, I am resetting with a 90% TM and working back up. I like to use Dan John's "rule of ten," on the DL, and so I've been using a linear progression with DLs. I'll do 75% for 5 reps, 85% for 3 reps, and 90% for 2 reps. If everything goes well, I'll add 5lbs/2.2 kg to my TM the next week and run it again. I keep doing that until I stall out. Then I retest, set my TM at 90% and run it up again. My DL had slipped and it's pretty quickly gotten me back to where it should be so we'll see how far the LP gets me this time.
