Thick Pinch Block Farmers Carry
17.5kg 3 sets until just short of hand failure
Note: felt pretty good, position on FSQ was great, to reinforce it with the heavier weight I may use a belt every now and again. WD is progressing well, I’m using 3-5 second eccentrics just to maintain position, my shoulder is feeling great as per the last block, I just want to be sure before I start to bump the weight up in future blocks. WPU was easy and the pinch blocks felt as good as ever. Good start to the new block.

45/43/40/40/39 Cals
Note: decided cut back on the volume for this one yesterday after skating. Good decision as my legs were really noticing it in the last two intervals. Still stayed around the same amount of Cals, I think this might have been close to the same as the last block. With the added bits of skating here and there some modifications will have to follow which is also why I’m allowing 3 days in between MS sessions if needed. Good start to the beginning of the end of the year.

Happy new year TB people. Hope the year brings many consistent training blocks. All the best.
Note: Whole lot of mobility work on the hamstrings and hip flexors. Hamstrings were a bit more bound up than I thought, felt great afterwards.
