MS: Fighter week 2, day 1. Just going through the motions today, did not sleep well last night, but it feels good to get it in regardless.

Re: Jon's Training Log
Tuesday: HIC: Fobbits, 24kg for swings and snatch.
Wednesday: Off. Was planning on a 60 minute ruck but then one of my daughters asked if we could go hiking this weekend, so I'll be "rucking" with them in a child carrier for about 90-120 minutes this weekend. They're about 30 pounds each and I'll take them out individually on Saturday morning. The hot summer weather has eased up here recently so this will be really nice.
Today: MS: Fighter week 3, day 2. Feeling good. I'm really happy with Fighter right now. I ran 5 sets on weeks 1 and 2 and 3 sets on week 3. I like the total volume from this package and it feels like a good fit for recovery, time in the gym, etc.

HIC: Fobbits, 32kg swing, 24kg snatch.
I did not want to do this session today. The day started kicking my ass at 6AM and didn't stop until 7:30PM. It broke 100 degrees Fahrenheit where I live today and it was still cooking outside when I went out back around 8PM tonight. But then something really cool happened...
I usually get 60 1H swings and 60 snatches in on Fobbits. Typically the time I finish that 60th snatch, I'm usually around the 18:00 to 18:30 mark, hit a 2 minute jog, and then call it. Today, I hit my 60th snatch around 17 minutes flat, got another 2 minute jog in, and then got in another 20 1H swings before hitting 20:00. Pretty happy with that. I can tell my snatch is really tightening up, we'll see if it's still as smooth next week...
