Re: Diary of a Desk Jockey
Thanks! I got wrapped up in work and other stuff, and just got out of the routine. Trying to get back into things now.

Day 44:
Empty bar (45lbs) for all, except sit-ups (bodyweight only). 60s rest between each set.
3 circuits of:
* OHP x10
* Bent-over row x10
* Squat x10
* RDL x10
* Situps x10
Felt more taxing than I'd like. Some DOMS the next day.

Day 47:
**Tactical Barbell Pre-Base Building W6D5**
Empty bar (45lbs) for all, except sit-ups (bodyweight only). 60s rest between each set.
3 circuits of:
* OHP x30
* Bent-over row x30
* Squat x30
* RDL x30
* Situps 1x24 (got spams in my abs)
Got through it all OK. I think I've done enough pre-BB (albeit in a protracted manner) to say it's time to move on. The next couple days are busy, but I'll try to squeeze in a run or two. And then I'll begin Base Building proper.

Re: Diary of a Desk Jockey
Yes, you are definitely past needing pre-base building. Good to see it came back quickly for you.

Day 48:
**Tactical Barbell Base Building Day 0**
Empty bar (45lbs) for all, except sit-ups and rows (bodyweight only). 60s rest between each set.
2 circuits of:
* OHP x20
* Squat x20
* Inverted row x20
* Bicycle crunch x20
* RDL x20
Should have been 3 circuits, but DOMS was rough. Better than the past couple days, when I could barely walk, but still took the wind out of my sails.

A bit of a struggle in the third circuit, but I got through it. Felt better for having done it.
