cheers lads for the support

Zulu Week1 B

Been thinking about what worked in the past, what I found transferable and basically what want from my training, hence dropping BB C&P for single dumbell C&P.

With DL anymore than 3 Reps and it doesn't feel right so keeping it to no more than 2 reps @ whatever % so see how it goes.

early start this morning so was in the garage for 5:30

Usual warm up, 10 mins rope work and 10 mins dynamic animal movements..

One arm dumbell clean and press 4x5 @70% 20kg
DL 5x2 @ 70% 95kg.

PM workout

S&S
10x10
40 24kg dble
60 24kg single

TGU 5 each side

4x16 kg
1x 24kg

shank n plank 4 mins

Tried 32kg but she laughed at me and my back cried

Can't complain haven't done KB snatches for a good while

GC Burpees

3mins RI 3mins = 44 +14 from last time
2mins RI 2mins = 29 same

Currently fighting off cold and traveled over 450 miles on the m/bike this week commuting, been soaked a few times so could be feeling it from that.

Light session today

15 mins rope work freestyle managed to mix dbl under's with crossovers for the first time, had a few stop starts but greatly improved, legs felt tired from Burpee fest yesterday

20 mins Dynamic animal movement with transition drills, nice and slow with some foam roller work and stretches

Worked on overhead squat mobilization as I want to bring this in as an accessory on Squat day

4:30 light bag work, combos kicks elbows usual sizzle, felt slightly winded at the end

S&S

10x10
80 single arms 24kg KB swings
20 DBl 32kg swings.... wanted to try and get back into the swing of things  with my heaviest KB as she laughed at me yesterday

TGU
4 each side
16, 16, 24, 24kg

Notes

soaked in sweat but banging sore throat and feeling rough so think its more of a bad sweat than good,

What a great couple of days there, matey. Nice work.

That's some commuting you got going on as well, mountain biking. Awesome.

Stay well, hope it doesn't develop into anything shitty.
Have a great one

Sorry THLE and J-Madd to disappoint its on my motorbike

But in my defense it is a super moto no wind protection upright position and on some busy fast roads with inner city f**e you get out my way fast filtering, with the occasional dismount and a discussion with various drivers about the merits of their driving skills and the reason they wanted to cut me up

Cheers anyway for the support much appreciated

Ha! I was thinking that 60m+ was pretty crazy, but I figured that's probably what people like bike messengers do. Anyway, I'm sure 450 miles on a motorcycle is no joke either!
