Haha, thanks! Although that's actually low since I am taking it easy for a bit since I've been doing front squats for so long. Don't worry--my run times are proportional (in the other direction).

Op I/A Day 2
Still working through some DOMS from switching to back squats, did the minimum sets there.

True! Still, training max and all that’s still very impressive.
Ah that’s fair enough, though I feel most prefer to be better in the strength department.

GC6 x3
With the 56 kg bell. These first HICs after 8 weeks of Capacity have been a little rough (esp. with the heavy swings today).

Could always just up the reps, I mean, there are those that say 10 reps are cardio lol.VenomousCoffee wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 11:49 pmYeah, I argue with myself all the time about strength training vs heart health.

Yup, that used to be me--which is how I ended up struggling to do 30 minute jog/walk sessions when I started TB! Just always trying to balance what I want to do with what I should do.Adski wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 10:48 amCould always just up the reps, I mean, there are those that say 10 reps are cardio lol.VenomousCoffee wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 11:49 pmYeah, I argue with myself all the time about strength training vs heart health.

Thursday 1/19
OP I/A Day 3
Squat, 275 7x5
OHP, 145 7x5
PUs, 7x5
Did all the lifting in maybe 45 minutes and felt more energetic leaving the gym than I did when I arrived. Capacity is legit.

Ah that’s always the way. I seem to have the opposite issue, I always want to push conditioning work, but I’m
finding I’m appreciating strength work more than I used to.
This being said from a quick glance at your log it looks like your conditioning work is going very well.
