Into deload week now. Holidays deload. ..I am going to binge food and drinks!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Looking at playing around with Zulu H/T. Any more opinions on it you'd care to share? Amd how long we're your training sessions? I like how quickly regular Zulu can be done.
Hey 03rockeater, My sessions were about 50 min - 1 hr including 10-15 min warmup. It depends on number of sets for both main lifts and accessories. Some days I used long RI-s and max sets for the lifts. I dropped accessories for last two sessions completely. Something like that. Zulu HT is very flexible and it does require self-regulation if you know what I mean. I would be careful with TM, though. Those squats and Dl for 10reps can do number on you. I don’t usually have DOMS with running TB. But I did get bad ones with first week of the block. I mixed up running and indoor sessions for endurance. Sticking with running only would be too much for me personally. Also I did GC and HIC in place of LR and Hills for a few times to keep things fresh.

Basically, my advice would be to be creative and take it easy to some degree.

Good luck!

Good stuff! Really looking forward to running this and thanks for getting back to me. Really quick question though: why do you say be careful with TM? I think I'm missing something here

Basically, what I mean is to be mindful about volume you can handle. I felt comfortable with Tam = 85% of my 1RM for Zulu HT. YMMW!

Haven’t been training in this new 2023 just yet. My deload turned into few weeks of different things but training. I picked up nasty virus infection around new year’s eve following by some family related things that kept me very busy and trainingless.

I have been doing some recovery drills, basic movements and some testing past week. Planning to get back to training soon. Not quite sure what to do, though. Possibly, I will restart I/CAT, or do one of the MASS blocks, or OP I/A variant. Not sure… To be continued..

1/20/23
Block#58 OP I/A

Week#1, Friday
Lifts, 75%
OHP - 3x5
FS - 3x5
Seal Rows - 3x5

Finisher
Body Saw, 1x10

Notes
*OP I/A wins. It always does. Just realized that it's been a while since I did OP I/A.. Well it is good to be back!
**Everything feels heavy after a month break.. I am taking it slow fir this block. Min sets, easy on conditioning. But it does feel good!
***I am dropping WPU for this block substituting with seal rows. I will be doing pullups for some conditioning drills.

The universe willed it as they say lol! Welcome back Bark! I had a similar realization, it’s such a good template to work with, so simple too. Any upcoming goals ahead?
