Hey Bark how is the Grey Man template going for you? Hope you’re well. I do have question, did you use a conservative TM for Bulgarian split squats in your last unilateral blocks…I ask as I went with a 90% TM and may be feeling slightly tender after my first session of the new OP DUP block haha.

Hey Adski! Cheers mate. Yes, I am doing well. Actually, just started another block of GM today. Was too busy to log, will do it tomorrow most likely.

Yes, very conservative TM for Bulgarians. I had options either go heavy and use some support like holding to upright for example, or go lighter but use my balance. I went for the latter and do not regret that.

I also using it for assistance now with light percentages and do like it a lot. From my experience Bulgarians go great with higher reps scheme.

Anyways, I am going to run couple more blocks of GM following by fall/winter BB. That’s the plan so far.

How’s your training going there across the globe? :)

That’s fantastic, GM looks like a fun template, I’d love to take it for a ride one day but I just love be my conditioning too much haha.

The latter I am feeling seems like the way to go, so my legs are telling me today. Maybe I’ll switch back to front squats and recalibrate at my next block just to play it safe recovery wise (I just feel like single leg work could be beneficial for a break from regular squatting if setup correctly).

Training has been up and down for me, I have had an Achilles issue which is slowly resolving, I can do everything except for run hard, which is a challenge for me as I miss running hills in particular! But otherwise I’ve been running OP DUP with a bit of boxing training and skating which has been a lot of fun. I found recovery (with a regular cluster) goes well with the use of plyometrics and the changing of reps/percentages. It balances out pretty well.

Great to hear from you on the other side of the world as well!
