Thanks for the compliments on my Duku-Duku video.

Today I went to BJJ practice. Since we have a tournament this Saturday, it was pretty light. I'll probably have a pretty light roll tomorrow too, and then take Thursday and Friday off.

Next week I'll be back to a new strength block.

BJJ practice. I'll take tomorrow and Friday completely off; at most maybe a very light 15 min on the Airdyne just to stay loose tomorrow. Then it's time for the tournament on Saturday.

Sadly our BJJ tournament was postponed because for the weather. It was the right call; it's getting nasty here today. So, I went out to the garage and hit this:

Airdyne power intervals x 8 (3 min breaks).

Great session.

I decided to show solidarity with all my Canadian brothers and sisters around here and I stuck with my garage, rather than going to the YMCA. It was 5 degrees F when I did this:

SSB: 310/5x3
BP: 225/8x3
Pull-Up: BW/8x3
2-H KB Swing: 48KG/20x3

I did 2-H swings because I was having a hard time gripping the Beast with gloves on.

I'm experimenting with a different muscle/strength emphasis block that I want to include in a book for older TB athletes that I'm currently working on. As such, my logging will be a bit more sporadic for the next six weeks or so, but I will check in here and there.
