Re: The Sasquatch Project
W2D4 - Max Strength (80%)
Squats: 5x5@200
OHP: 5x5@115
Pull Ups: 10x2 (in between sets)
We had a snow storm Yesterday afternoon that shut the entire city down. I walked the 4+ mile round trip to get the training session done. I will definitely do that regularly in the spring and summer. I had a nice sweat roling by the time I got there, despite the cold.

Re: The Sasquatch Project
Slacking on logging - not on training.
W2D5 - 20:00
20:00 Mobility & Static Stretching
W2D6 - E
75:00 Ruck @ 50lb vest
W3D1 - Max Strength (90%)
Squat - 5x3 @ 225
OHP - 5x3 @ 125
Pullups - 1x3; 9x2
Accessories:
DB Rows - 3x8+8 @ 80lbs
DB Bench - 3x8 @ 65lbs
W3D2 - E
50:00 LSS Airdyne
20:00 Mobility & Stretching
W3D3 - E
50:00 LSS Airdyne
20:00 Mobility & Stretching
I had not planned to use the Airdyne so much during "E" Sessions, but I have discovered that it is easier to get in/maintain target HR zone on the bike than while rucking. The only issue is that the seat is brutal on the ol' taint/gooch area. Pins and Needles set in at the 25:00 minute mark and give way to complete misery by 40ish minutes. I got these guys, hoping to fix the problem: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MT ... UTF8&psc=1
Any advice from you other Airdyne Warriors?

W4d2 Ex60
60:00 LSS Airdyne; Avg HR: 152
So you know how K. Black says that Base Building is about conditioning the body and the mind? Yeah. My mind got some conditioning with this one. I wanted to quit about 3 times. I didn't. It feels dumb to say out loud, but when it was over, I felt like I had won something - one of those "victory over myself" moments.
LOL...now I have to do it again tonight.
