Where to buy equipment?

I am in the market for a squat rack and barbell for my garage, and shopping around for the best value - I am willing to pay more if it is really worth it. Any recommendations?

I concur. Have used their barbells a few times and they are great! Have bought a couple of kettlebells from Rogue and they are awesome!

Yes, I was planning to buy from Rogue, but thought I would do my homework, first. I have several rogue kettlebells that I am very happy with. Also purchased my Airdyne from them.

I can get their S-1 squat rack, the Rogue Ohio Bar and 350lbs of plates for around $1200. That's most likely what I will end up with.

Fringe Sport makes some good stuff. I have their bumper plates, really can't beat the price. I do have a Rogue bar and am very happy with it

I am assuming you mean S1 stand. I'd go with S2.. There are so many updates you can make to it and safety arms is most important. The rest are are not necessary but still can be desirable at some point (pullup bar, dip attachment, half rack upgrade kit, pin/pipe safety, shrimp attachment for hanging rings and punching bag, etc).. The safety spotters can really save you. Seriously.. I have dropped bar for a few times and speaking from personal experience.. It's $100 difference and you can save on used plates instead..

I wouldn't save on stand and bench. And plates are less important.. Just my 2c, mate.

I got a pretty solid rack on Amazon that was about 200 bucks. I keep my 35s and some less used 25lbs bumper plates on the back and it doesn't move at all. I got my 300# iron weights and barbelll at a sports store for $250. I use craigslist a lot for other items like bumper plates and kettlebells. Look there come March when everyone abandons their new year resolutions and you'll find some gold.

I haven't used their squat racks but their bumper plates are great. I highly recommend the plates. I just happened to see the squat racks listed and figured I would post that as well

Titan Fitness is supposed to be good, apparently they're basically Rogue clones made overseas for lower prices, but still good quality. Haven't used them, but if I ever buy a new rack that's likely what I'll go for.

Unless I've got extra cash in which case I'd go with Sorinex. They outfit a lot of college gyms, and some big names I follow in online fitness(Matt Vincent, Power Athlete, Dan McKim) all use their stuff. It's got a great reputation.

I've got some Rogue kettlebells, rings, and paralletes. They're all great quality, and they've got a ton of different accessories and attachments for their racks(which I've heard will also fit on the Titan Fitness racks, though I can't verify that. Searching reddit for Titan racks could probably give you some answers).
