Good luck with the injury recovery! It happens to all of us..

Monday - 2 hours of bjj

Tuesday - 1 hour of bjj

Wednesday - rest (even though I said I was going to lift...)

Thursday - 1+ hour of bjj

Friday - lifting for the first time in two weeks after hurting my wrist. It went ok. I have to be very careful with 'mindless' motions like racking weight and adjusting barbells. Day 1 of fighter template.

Ran 5.5 miles in 52 minutes today. I've been doing my long runs at LSS pace, but today I decided to turn it up and averaged 9:35 min/mile and HR at 175.

Just a quick update. I complained a month or two ago that I was getting sick a lot this winter. Well, my luck held, and I was hit with another stupid viral thing. Lost several lbs and a surprising amount of strength after not eating for about five days. I decided to run a short block of linear progression to get back into the game before returning to operator, so I'm working through that right now. Also maintaining black protocol and bjj training, and trying to put weight back on.

Wed - rest

Thur - 1 hour of bjj

Fri - linear progression
SQ 5 x 5 x 115
BP 5 x 5 x 77.5
DL 3 x 5 x 155

Sat - HIC
5 rounds of 2 minutes on the rowing machine.

Sun - linear progression
SQ 5 x 5 x 120
BP 5 x 5 x 80
PU 3 x 5, various grips

I'm pretty happy with my linear progress right now, I'm going to keep it up. I'm at 117 lbs, and the last time I was comfortable at this weight/rep scheme I was more like 125.

Edit: Okay I just reviewed my logs and this bodyweight + lifting weight is nothing special for me. Sad trombone.

Mon - I was scheduled to train BJJ, but I had a strong sense of foreboding that if I went I would get injured. I'm not superstitious or prone to that kind of thinking at all, so I decided it was an omen worth heading. Did some HIC instead, 5 rounds of 2 minutes on the rower.

Tue - more linear progression. Getting heavy.
SQ 5 x 5 x 125
BP 5 x 5 x 82.5
PU 3 sets of 5
