3 mile ruck with about 15% BW, average pace right around 17 minutes. I have an extremely hilly 1.5 mile loop I like to do for these - it's not the most intellectually stimulating but half of it ends up being all uphill with two of them particularly hard. Finished with a series of planks and some stretching.

Stand Alone Training. Slowly building up to Level 1 standards. Warm-up followed by a 22 minute run and then some incentive training. 20 minutes to do 16 pull-ups, 40 ruck push-ups, 40 ruck overhead squats, 40 ab wheel rollouts from the knees, and 40 KB RDLs. Swings are still a touchy subject for me - part of me really wants to do them but the other part thinks rushing into them too fast last time caused my setback.

Ran but no Mission after, back was feeling a bit of so I decided to play it safe.

"Fun ruck" with 25#. Alternated half mile loaded carries (weighted ruck plus a 16kg kettlebell) with PT stops: either 50m bear crawls or 50m walking lunges. Did just 1 mile today since the boys wanted to do it with me.

Fasted today, simply because I felt like I needed to. Ate nothing from dinner the night before until dinner the same night, drank just lemon water and tea all day long.
20170220:
Early start to work due to some training, and since it was such a nice day we took the kids to a big playground the next town over. I got my run in but no SE training, which was okay. Spent some time climbing the equipment with my sons, teaching them how to ride a skateboard (I still got it), and just having fun.

Tried something a bit new with this ruck today. Did 3 miles with 15% body weight but after every mile I stopped and did a bit of PT. Every stop I would do 10 repetitions of rucksack goblet squats, one-armed rucksack rows, rucksack thrusters, and reverse lunges on each side while wearing the rucksack. It ended up being a nice little workout. Going to do my plank circuit and then make myself breakfast.

Woke up a bit late as I forgot to adjust my alarm, so I went with a Level II workout today for my Stand Alone Training. 20 minutes of interval running, 15 minutes of EMOM (14 pull-ups, and 36 reps of ruck push-ups, ruck overhead squats, ab wheel rollouts, and two handed swings).

Hey there, what do you use for a ruck? Do you use an actual one or a back pack? Looking for advice. Thank man.
Get after it!
