Base Building: Week 1 - Day 5- Block 1

Recovery day yesterday. I took it easy due to some soreness in my feet and lower back. I hit the foam roller this morning and it felt great.

Base Building: Week 1 - Day 6- Block 1

30 minute LSS.

Notes: Felt pretty good overall. I had to walk it out one or two laps that were spread out but felt good. I can tell these LSS sessions are working for a few reasons. One major one though is that I don't feel all "huffy and puffy" walking up and down the stairs or doing simple tasks like walking with a laundry basket. I feel better.

Back in business...

Block 1- Week 2- Day 2
:

Started with the rx'ed LSS run for 30 minutes.

Notes: I decided to use the treadmill today out of convenience and it went much better than I anticipated though it was boring. I set the incline as 2.0 and the speed around 3.5 and then 3.4 where I found my happy medium at.

I then made up for yesterday's missed Strength Endurance session:

2 Rounds- Alpha Circuits- 20 Reps each
Lunges (10 reps each leg)
Push Ups
Sit Ups
Bench Press 65lbs
Leg Lifts

Notes: Though it was rx'ed to 3 rounds, I kept it at two rounds for a couple reasons. One reason as I just finished a 30 minute LSS run and didn't wanna kill myself so much early on. I felt pretty smoked from that alone. Secondly, after my second set of lunges, I started to feel a sharp pain from my lower back shooting down the back side of my right leg. I am not sure if this is a sign of over training or doing too much in one day. I guess I will assess tomorrow as I have another LSS session tomorrow and see how I feel then.

Block 1 - Week 2 - Day 5:

Off

Block 1 - Week 2 - Day 6:
Made a 30 minute LSS run. This felt good.

Notes:
The two overnight shifts at work (I work in a grocery store) beat the hell out of me for some reason (I don't do them often) so I decided to hit my E session today and keep pressing on.
