Never Forget

I graduated from LEO academy and got my badge on Sept 10/01. Partied it up that night with visiting relatives, fellow troop members and their visiting relatives and friends. The next morning was surreal, all the more surreal because we were all severely hung over. We were gathered in the common area and saw it live on tv. Everyone's relatives and friends were stranded in town for a few days because the local airports were shut down until things stabilized.
