My wrist has been bothering me for a few days, and I'm pretty sure I tweaked I doing burpees last week. Did the burpees on my fists, per the instruction of Dr. Internet, and it felt pretty good today.

Between my wrist feeling shitty and my parents being in town, I figured I'd skip lifting this week. Not proud of that, but my wrist feels good as new, so I think I made the right choice.
My dad is a longtime distance runner; he's in his 60's now, but still runs 5-6 miles a couple times a week. We were pretty busy, what with driving around Europe like crazy people, but we got a 5-miler and a 3-miler on the books, along with many miles walked.
All the driving this week reminds me of joke from when I inprocessed Europe: an American thinks 100 years is a long time, a European thinks 100 miles is a long distance.
