My experience with the jump rope comes from crossfit. Nothing like a daily dose of humility having soccer moms school you jumping rope.

I live in a second floor apartment, and jump rope done by me will be on the back patio area.

Ross has great book on jumping rope with different techniques and drills. He is jumping rope monster!

That is something I will have to look into!

I like his DIY articles as well. Once I get into a house with tools and more room I will build softball grips, peg board, and sandbags.

I used to do them with my clubbell when I went through a phase of training with them.
It was a good movement and over a period will sneak up on you.

I’d guess it’d be good for HICs and finishers. Could be done with DB I’d say.. Seems like good substitute if you don’t have a tire..
