Re: antlas log

I was adherent to base building the first week, and not at all the second week. I've been traveling nearly continuously since mid-January, and I have another month left. It's extremely cold where I am now, and I work long hours. Excuses, excuses. Going to keep on keeping on...

Re: antlas log

I've fallen off the wagon a bit. I ran a half marathon in December, and went on 10 days of work travel the very next day. Then came the holidays, then more work travel. Now I'm in a six week stretch of travel, in fact. I've still been working on a few times a week semi-randomly, but I need to 1) be ...

Re: Having trouble doing Back Squats

Something is off about this. As a 115lb woman I started with a 65lb squat and a 115lb deadlift, and that was just on day 1. I don’t say this to make you up feel bad, OP, but to underscore that the problems you are having are not internet-solvable. Are you excluding the weight of the bar (45 lbs) or ...

Re: antlas log

Half marathon training is going well, I really enjoy the miles. I'm trying to keep up with Fighter template, but unfortunately I've let it slide a few times. One thing I've had success with this month is maintaining weight. I've been really diligant about tracking calories and eating to at least mai...

Re: Booze

To be honest, that's a ton of alcohol. I don't think switching to a different drink would help all that much. Try cutting it out (or at least waaay back) for a few weeks and see how you feel.

Re: Member Introductions Thread

Are there any other women TBers out there? I’m in my late 20s, 5’4” and 120 lbs. I’m a scientist with a desk job. I run TB for all around fitness.

Re: antlas log

I finished a block of Operator this week. It was neither here nor there - I pretty much just maintained strength, which is what I expected given my diet (cut about 3 lbs ) and effort (stuck to the minimums). For my next block I’m going to be training for a half marathon in early December. I’ll also ...

Re: antlas log

Training has been continuing apace. I was on TDY most of this week but still managed three workouts. This weekend I got in a nice hour run at LSS pace and completed day two of 85%. Tried to pick up 225 but failed - maybe next time. Low carb has also been working out great, I'm really enjoying it.

Re: Maximizing the workout time and TB blasphemy

When I work out at lunchtime I superset squats and bench to save time. It is totally fine. I say give it a shot - you can always revert later.
