Re: Squat technique
If you are going with your feet straight forward, I would just add that you really need to fight to keep your knees from collapsing inward during your heavy sets. Personally, I squat with a shoulder distance stance and turn my feet out a bit (toes generally pointing to the far corners of the power r...

Re: Calorie tracking for restaurant meals
MyFitnessPal has barcode scanning and most restaurant meals. I actually haven't been to a restaurant that wasn't in the system.

Re: How often do you switch cluster?
And do you lose strength when you switch? That's what I did 2 x 6 weeks block than switch for 6 week, and went back with some less strength. Not when I pick an alternate lift that fits. For example, deadlift, I am chronically weak off the floor. So, I could do deficit deadlifts, but I don't have a ...

Re: How often do you switch cluster?
I do my blocks as 6 weeks always. So I can push the forced progression if I want, depending on how my 95% week went.

Re: Post your favorite meal
As a man it's important to be able cook one thing well, and cedar-plank salmon with parmesan asparagus sealed the deal with my now wife.

Re: Belts and Straps?
I wear a belt when I get to 85% or higher on squats and deadlifts because I can feel myself bracing much better. I don't use straps unless I'm doing rows, or high rep deadlifts. But, YMMV.

Re: A Case For Conditoning by Brian Alsruhe (strongman)
I did the same thing. Thrall was a Marine casket bearer once upon a time, so I've got to subscribe to my guys. Another good one for powerlifting is Cody Lefever, or GZCL (goes by both).Blackmetalbunny wrote:I actually subscribed to Brian Alsruhe through Allan Thrall (flameshield up)

Re: What do you do after MS days?
Are you doing a conditioning protocol? You could cram a HIC in there. Or some accessories. Since I'm already doing accessories and conditioning, and I don't think my body could handle more training, I'd use the time to work on mobility. Yeah, I'm doing black professional for now. I just wasn't sure...
