Re: Working on Consistency
The first question is: what are your goals? Do you want to get stronger? Are you trying to lose fat? Do you want to build muscle? Improve your 5K? Improve your big 3? Etc. The general TB philosophy aims to bring up all aspects of fitness, but with that in mind, you still need to know what your prior...

Re: Obese 32m here: do I wait on TB or begin with it
You say you have 2 years, so start making time-based goals. If I were you (it varies from person to person) I would start with 2 months of EASY stuff: -walking 10k steps per day (get an iwatch, some are very cheap) -focusing on getting 8 hours of sleep -playing around with VERY light weight (50% or ...

Re: Bulgarian Split Squats
Do heavy Trap Deadlifts combined with high volume KB Squats.
Simple as that. Thank me later.

Re: JZT 2.0
https://ibb.co/pysrpsw Just finished 9 weeks of a (slightly tweaked version) Operator/Green Cycle. Basically did strength work 3 times per week (Press x3, Chins x3, Squats x2 and Deadlifts x1) and ran 30 mins x 3 trying to keep a 150-160 BPM pace. Results: Press +4lbs Chin ups +4lbs Squats +30lbs D...

Re: Polling the room: Warm-ups
Some light band work for the shoulders
A few minutes stretching my hips, hamstrings and hip flexors (static stretching)
Then a few sets with light weights (1-3 sets)
After that I'm good to go.

Tactical Barbell Standards?
Hello all, I haven't posted in a while, but lately I've been thinking ''What should I strive for?''. There comes a time where strength gains become minimal and focusing conditioning would be more worthwhile, or vice versa. I'm simply wondering what you would consider ''elite'' in terms of standards?...

Re: Operator setup
I've actually ran that for 6 weeks in 2019.
Press 193 | 192
Squat 357 | 426
Deadlift 423 | 496
Bench 255 | 274
Chin Ups BW+120 | BW+126
BW 213 | 213
Press x1, Squat 3x, DL 1x (singles only), Bench 2x, Chins 3x
It had a huge effect on my SQ/BP/DL, but very minimal on the chins and press.

Re: Mobility Day - Active Recovery
I do 15 mins of mobility/yoga per day (on top of walking a lot) and it really helps with joint pain.

Re: 2020 plan review
Curious as to why you would wish to skip the last 3 weeks of BB. Personally I would recommend sticking to the block, the last 3 weeks assist easing back in to HIC work and strength work. When it comes to boxing 10 rds at a given percentage, over time, that perceived percentage will change, and what...
