Because I focus a lot on my Endurance (3xE and 1x HIT per week) at the moment I run a Press/Deadlift Cluster (Fighter Template) with once a week Chin-Ups mainly for maintenance. I do 3 Sets for the Press and never go over 10 Reps per Session for the Deadlift (3x3 or 2x5). Works well for me

Nobody says you can't do it like a two day Operator approach. I have done it in the past. I think the 75/80/90 approach is better overall though from my personal opinion as Fighter tends to be run with a higher conditioning load so those 95% weeks especially can be rough. Your're right I am so used...

Why is the Fighter Template 75%/80%/90% for six weeks?
I run Fighter Template as its written. It works so no complains here.
Nevertheless I ask myself from a training point of view why the loads are 75%/80%/90% and then repeat and not 70%/80%/90%/75%/85%/95% like Zulu and Operator Template.
