Re: Weightlifters shoulder

Thanks all for excellent feedback and suggestions. Today I switched things up to o/head press and went light. Will work the Cressy shoulder drills into my routine and see where this all takes me.

Re: Weightlifters shoulder

Thanks BPJ, I'll give the change a shot and see what happens. Mine is not so much sharp pain in the lift but rather radiating pain/stiffness later in the day and for days afterwards.

Weightlifters shoulder

Has anyone dealt with weightlifters shoulder? I am self diagnosing myself with online articles. According to what I am reading on-line it appears that benching seams to be the culprit. Started TB last fall with great results up to March when my training went to shit due to work logistics, lack of di...

Re: Green protocol/ 40 mpw running

I most definitely think some speed training would have been beneficial.

Re: Green protocol/ 40 mpw running

Personally when I was endurance running almost all my mileage was LISS. I think it depends on your goals. Looking back as I have said my training was never usually specific and deliberate beyond increasing weekly mileage by 10 to 20% with the weekend long run.

Re: Green protocol/ 40 mpw running

My endurance running history was by no means calculated in the way I see most of the athletes posting on these pages. I was a fly by the seat of your pants kind of guy. I believe that was to my detriment rather than advantageous. Most of my endurance training for marathons and 50 milers were basical...

Thanks Jefferson. I like your approach to training and not getting too hung up on shit. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Jefferson Training

Hey Jefferson, it looks like you are combining op with a post lift run? Are you also running in addition to each post lift run? If so how much/often. I'm looking to get more running in but not sure how to maximize it with Op/black.

Re: Maximum E's and HIC's for 'Black'

Thanks for your input J-Madd I will keep that in mind. I may stick with the 2 HIC's and 1 E and maybe run the other 2 days at an E pace for 3 miles just for therapeutic benefits.
