Re: Problem with squats
So do you have any ideas for a lower body exercise, I could do in the cluster? Thought about (Bulgarian) split squats, but I don’t know whether they’re suitable when doing low reps. Bulgarian split squats are perfectly fine. I did them a lot after my ACL injury (almost 3 years ago). Just make sure ...

Re: Body Comp and Life Style
As I said, it depends where you are and what are your goals. If we are talking about sub 10% body fat , then yes, you probably need to count food. But for vast majority of people, counting is just another "stress" and far less sustainable in a long run.For some reasonable changes in body c...

Re: Body Comp and Life Style
Those guys that claim they don't count are liars or genetic freaks. Most of them are lifetime athletes. They are the exception, not the rule. It is just my opinion that, for most people, you MUST count to get good results. If you don't you're just shooting at a target with your eyes closed. . Your ...

Re: Need advice on current Op + Black programming
Hey Dovx, Yeah, I probably should have mentioned that before actually. My results were pretty good. I was doing a block of front squat, bench press, romanian deadlifts, and pull-ups - without a training max - and doing a lot of endurance running (pretty much a fighter/green type of set up). I'd bas...

Re: Need advice on current Op + Black programming
Ok so you were doing fighter already. May I ask what were your results/observation? Why do you want more volume? Did you progress?
Also, what are your goals?

Re: Question about the Grunt vs SWAT cluster for Operator
Don't fall into paralysis by analysis... Use any template from the book, no need to invent warm water...; alternate every few cycles if you want. People who are preparing for any course or selection need to realize that in conditioning part is far more important to do specific stuff than in strength...

Re: Enjoy your coffee
I drink it but only once a week for hardest session. Problem with coffee (in my case) is that it just crashes me to much after some period if i drink it for every workout. I start to feel letargic and tired...and I start to yawn after drinking it (before workout). It contributes to adrenal fatigue (...
