Mass protocol for an ole timer
Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well. Just a question in regards to teh Mass protocl in the first Book. It says to do 4 sets of the given exercises. Would there be any issues if I only did 3 sets per exercise? Being 49 years of age, I just can't seem to hit that fourth set and just get fatiqued. Any o...

Re: Struggling to do pull-ips
I've had tendonitis issues as well. Still do but not nearly so bad. Here are some things that have helped A LOT: 1. Do this wrist prep routine before each workout. This has helped not only my wrists but my elbows as well. Just go really easy for the warmup effect. Don't try to push a stretch - well...

Re: Fighter HT
You can, it will just depend on your recovery, as well as calorie intake. I’ve seen a few people run fighter HT while also completing their bjj, mma or boxing training and it hasn’t seemed to effect them negatively. Thank you Adski, Just wondering, on the days I have a bit more time and some left o...

However I have now gone back to martial arts training twice a week which is quite intense. I am now think of switch to Fighter HT from the same book. I am wondering if...

Re: Struggling to do pull-ips
Agree with TBP! I remember Pavel Tsatsoulin says in one of his books: “Just do one pullup every time you are in the room where your pullup bar hangs”. That is exactly what I did years back. Just multiple singles throughout a day without any programming. It does its magic. I’m don’t like assisted pu...

Re: Struggling to do pull-ips
I have a decent garage gym set up, with squat rack, dumbbells, Olympic plates and bars with a pulley system which attaches to the rack. The rack also allows me to do dips and chins. In my opinion it is hard on the body to be doing close to a rep max with low reps (up to 5 reps). That is, with ANY e...
