Discussion about the pple book seems to be hard to come by.
Has anyone completed it and got any results of thoughts they could share?
I looked at the MTI Police Academy prep program as well but am hoping someone with experience using the pple book may be able to chime in.

Re: MAS training
I am familiar with it and have seen it used with team athletes. Will it bring results, yes? In saying that i would lean to other methods based on results people have got using other methods.
One good thing I do like is it makes you get a minutes/m value which is useful for programming purposes

Was posting it up in hope that if there is anything glaringly wrong with it someone may point it out along with a potential solution.
I feel it is reasonable and will bring about results so lookign forward to seeing where it goes.

Re: KayBee Episode 1
so that didn't kick off as planned...let's revisit Disclaimer This is not my original idea. I saw how Green2Blue laid out their log and it matched my way of thinking about such things so I proceeded as follows (i.e. credit to Green2Blue for this). Episode 1 Training Plan Goals Complete 80 days of tr...

Critique of my TB inspired I/A esque program (via TangoZero, Blackmetalbunny,Mikhou, G2B, and Maxrip13 )
I have planned out a number of iterations of a plan and have decided something Opeartor I/A esque is in order. A lot of this is due to lifestyle and timing of things in my day. I took inspiration from this discussion of Op I/A. http://tacticalbarbell.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=762 Hey, Bark. Awhile b...

Re: Combining Op and Mass (for accessories)
So are you really thinking of a small-cluster GZCL while rotating which exercise you treated as MS & which ones as MT? That could totally work, but it's not really much like TB anymore. Nothing at all wrong with it in my eyes, I like it. No harm in the experiment. I guess you could compare it t...

Re: Combining Op and Mass (for accessories)
TB and jzt , thanks..all makes sense. So to move forward it'd appear my cluster needs a bit of a reshuffle....and if keeping it strictly TB I'd aim for Pull Ups, squat and bench (although I have considered subbing in push ups and using max-push-ups as my 1rm for push ups and programming similar to ...

GREEN standard program check
My plan to run Zulu I/A has fallen apart. To achieve my desired goals I have come up with the following: Green standard with fighter being my 2 x MS program of choice. Cluster will be squats, bench and pull ups. 4 x E will all come about via running. I am also doing a 3 × per week push up program to...

Re: General health/fitness program design
This is a good example of why we need to be specific when stating what we want. If someone asked me the question I'd typically ask them what they mean. By that I'd try to get some specifics from them. "I want to be fit and healthy" ...do you want to walk to the bus stop without getting gas...

Re: Basebuilding (Mass style) with E runs up to an hour (mixing TB2 and BB Mass?)
I'd have to re-read it again but off the top of my head I can't see why not to do it although it wouldn't;t be such a strength focused BB as teh Strength First approach to BB in TB2. What would you likely do as a continuation ?
