Re: SSB article & research
SSB and Trap Bar describe my training life for now. I might think of some alternatives for a bench in a future as well. .. I am not seeing it.. You can always play with the position of a handles to make the angle different. But I always feel my hams/glutes with SSB.. Bark, have you thought of using...

Re: SSB article & research
Great article. It goes to show that the traditional BB Bench, BB Squat and BB Deadlift really only applies to Powerlifting and not athletes. Of course these can all be good lifts for athletes, but depending on leverages and history, you can get vastly superior results with alternatives. It reminds ...

What about a loadable sledge hammer? The SISU from Rogue? Could it double as sledgehammer and a mace?

Re: Barkadion TB Logs
Your run data is interesting to me. What is your height? What is a ‘fast’ pace for you? Do you have data for a fast mile or so run? Thank you CD51. I am 6'2" with carrying 210lb for now. I had do dig a little into my old logs. Here is my test run after very first BB for the Fast 5 from Ross fo...

Re: Using the time between sets
I sometimes read on my phone, make coffee, or cook breakfast/dinner. I usually stretch the muscle group I am working. Today my rest intervals were (feed the baby cereal, and hold the baby.)

Re: LSS modalities
Hey Mike D, I am not old, but I started TB from an off the couch approach. I did the walk/run or just ran slow enough to keep it in range. You can do it man. It's humbling for sure, but the progress is worth it!

Re: Awesome new training watch/HR monitor/GPS
I have a relatively Garmin Vivoactive HR I like it a lot and use it on my runs. The only bad thing is I can't use the watch for repeats. i use a garmin forerunner 935. I create artificial repeats using this method - create workout set a time for estimated repeat + rest (so I use 4mins for say, a 1:...

Re: Scattered schedule approach and programming
Bark, if you had two weeks, you could run Op I/A percentages with a TM, just spend two days at each weight. Or just do the first two weeks. If the weights seem too easy you could just do more sets if you have time. I think WB pretty much nailed it. I would run it like TBP and I agree with WB. Stay ...

Re: Scattered schedule approach and programming
I've been trying to rack my brain over this the last few days. I keep coming back to two things. One, shorter blocks, two bodyweight movements if you can't bring a KB.
