Re: Zulu / Operator hybrid?

I have a vague idea that an A-B-A scheme was covered in one of the books... might be the Mass book which then goes with different rules. There's also this: http://www.tacticalbarbell.com/operator-options/ In general I think this works well with the squat, alternating with DL (covered in the link abo...

Re: General health/fitness program design

Agreed on being specific, however most people just give you blank stares when asking what they want and mumble something about “just want to be fit” Based on the feedback I’ve decided to recommend starting with 6 weeks of BB then that should give a better idea about likes and wants. Specifically I’l...

Re: General health/fitness program design

Thank you both Bark and K.B.!
I will suggest base then Black Pro with Operator. For HIC I’ll put in the classic “whatever floats your boat that day, but if in doubt do Apex or resets”

Thanks a lot!

Re: Integrating C25K with PPLE

Get those pullup numbers up first, don’t worry about the C5K program.
If you follow PPLE there is no need for the 5k program, PPLE will get you there in any case (especially if you are parient with the block zeros)

General health/fitness program design

Hello, A bit of an off question considering the richness of the TB system, but if you’d had someone ask you for a “do this” program for general health/fitness/mobility with no specific goals other than I want to be fit and healthy, what would you recommend? Anything goes, tools, modalities, frequenc...

Re: Rowing

Love my C2 rower as well!
It’s great for doing fobbits (seriously, it makes fobbits 10x better than a treadmill!), and especially for resets

I can’t bring myself to do LSS work on it though

Re: Programming Review Help

Basebuilding I would focus on reaching your run time and strength goals. Whatever you weigh while hitting those numbers is what you should weigh. If you just want to weigh more...maybe the new Mass Protocol book has the answer. I haven't read it yet (waiting on the ebook), so I can't say for sure. ...

Re: Mass Protocol - Available NOW + TOC/FAQs

Thanks, bought the book the same day as the announcement (discount did work on amazon.de) It comes at a perfect time, as towards the end of the year I usually do an assessment of my training, where I am, what I’ve done and did it work (spoiler, a year of Op/black was a tremendous success), and what ...

Re: HRV4TRaining app

Sounds good, go for it! BTW I saw in another thread that you bought a garmin watch... does it have the allday stress widget? I found that very useful to gauge how different activities (and coffee, food, alcohol etc) throughout the day affect your recovery, that together with hrv4training gave me som...

Meant to add that their blog and articles section on their site is very very good too!
